Introduction to Chiropractic Standard® Review and Audit Guidelines

One of the problems that chiropractic has with reviews and audits is that the reviewers and auditors may or may not (more often not) have a good, firm understanding of chiropractic and how we interact with the patient. The Chiropractic Standard® Review and Audit Guidelines are designed to educate reviewers and auditors on chiropractic and how it works as it relates to the patients. This program will explain basic chiropractic terms and concepts and how they relate to patients. It will also teach the thresholds of chiropractic tools used to measure functional impairment and improvement and how to prove the medical necessity of the care rendered by the chiropractor. The result will be better educated reviewers and auditors with a better understanding of chiropractic
